Traineeship Opportunity in World Vision International Nepal ( WVIN) 2019

About WVIN: World Vision international Nepal ,  an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice. WVIN wants to enable graduates from diverse background to engage in transformational development through the traineeship programme. Therefore, anyone who meets the following criteria can apply for an opportunity to learn as a trainee in World Vision International Nepal.

Trainee Purpose :

The purpose of this one year (Oct-Sept) Traineeship Programme is to give the opportunity to explore and increase the potential of trainees by enhancing and developing their capacity in community-based integrated programmes, organisational management and leadership development within the working context of WVIN. 

We offer traineeship opportunities to specialize in different sectors in the fields of: 

 

Based in Central Field Office, lalitpur

  • Monitoring Evaluation Accounatbility Learning (MEAL) – (1)

Based in National Office, Lalitpur

Based in West Field Office, Dhangadhi

  • Finance and Admin – (1)

Based in East Field Office, Biratnagar

  • Sponsorship Correspondence- (1)
  • Finance and Admin – (1)

Being a trainee at WVIN means you will have:

  • A dedicated supervisor to support your professional learning.
  • A 12 month learning plan to support your career goals.
  • An opportunity to gain practical work experience in your area of interest.

This traineeship programme is suitable for you if you have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any field of study and if you :

  • Are willingness to commit on World Vision’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • Are willing to work with poor and marginalised communities in remote areas.
  • Are able to work effectively and sensitively in the cultural context of Nepal.
  • Are looking to launch your career and gain professional experience with an international NGO.
  • Are willing to commit to a 12-month full time traineeship programme
  • Have clear personal vision for future career development.  
  • Are self-motivated, confident and willing to learn and apply new concepts and ideas.

 

During the traineeship period, allowance will be provided to the trainees to cover basic expenses.
